Creative nature – Multiple exposures and ICM

I sometimes use my camera’s ability to create multiple exposures, or use Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) to make more creative views of nature. For example, I used multiple exposures to create the feeling of Wordsworth’s daffodils “fluttering and dancing in the breeze”. I also used multiple exposures to create my photo ‘Lark ascending’ and the photos of chimney sweeper moths, but in these cases the photos were combined in software, rather than in camera. Equally I sometimes use ICM alone to create images, such as ‘Bluebell woods’, ‘Storm clearing’ and ‘Around the clock’. Lastly, using both multiple exposures and ICM together is fun to create more abstract images like ‘Autumn gold’ and ‘The colour of autumn’.
