I was fortunate enough to win a year’s membership of the Yorkshire Arboretum, near Castle Howard, in the 2016/17 Howardian Hills AONB photographic competition. My winning photo (below) was taken in autumn at the Arboretum.
I’ve visited the Arboretum many times and it’s a great place for wildlife as well as the more obvious tree, flower and autumn colour photos. I’ve found it a great place for photographing fungi and insects as well. Below are some of the many photographs I’ve taken there:
